1. Enervating

Part of Speech: Adjective Definition: Causing one to feel drained of energy or vitality; exhausting Example: The enervating heat of the summer afternoon made it difficult to concentrate on any task.

2. Perspicacious

Part of Speech: Adjective Definition: Having a ready insight into and understanding of things; having keen mental perception Example: The perspicacious detective noticed the subtle clue that everyone else had overlooked.

3. Sycophant

Part of Speech: Noun Definition: A person who acts obsequiously toward someone important in order to gain advantage; a flatterer Example: The CEO was surrounded by sycophants who praised every decision without question.

4. Obsequious

Part of Speech: Adjective Definition: Obedient or attentive to an excessive or servile degree; overly submissive Example: The obsequious servant bowed and scraped to please his masters.

5. Magnanimous

Part of Speech: Adjective Definition: Generous or forgiving, especially toward a rival or someone less powerful Example: Despite winning the election by a landslide, the president was magnanimous in victory.

6. Didactic

Part of Speech: Adjective Definition: Intended to teach, particularly in having moral instruction as an ulterior motive Example: The teacher avoided the didactic approach, preferring to let students discover answers themselves.

7. Laconic

Part of Speech: Adjective Definition: Using very few words; concise and succinct in speech or writing Example: The laconic cowboy replied to the sheriff's questions with a simple nod.

8. Erudite

Part of Speech: Adjective Definition: Having or showing great knowledge or learning; scholarly Example: The professor's erudite lecture on medieval literature captivated the entire audience.

9. Fastidious

Part of Speech: Adjective Definition: Very attentive to and concerned about accuracy and detail; difficult to please Example: The fastidious editor caught every typo and grammatical error in the manuscript.

10. Esoteric

Part of Speech: Adjective Definition: Intended for or likely to be understood by only a small number of people with specialized knowledge Example: The professor's research on esoteric philosophical concepts was published in a specialized academic journal.
